Bio
Tia Joined Bioscience Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in 2022 as a Technical Professional in the synthetic biology group. She started her career at Los Alamos National Lab, where she worked on a broad range of projects, utilizing a variety of molecular biology techniques. She has worked on Algae Biofuels production, CLIA COVID-19 diagnostic testing and R&D, the Select Agent program, SPADA panel acquisitions and genetic characterization, IBRD biological modeling and persistence studies. She is experienced working in ISO 17025 and CLIA accredited laboratories.
