Bio
Barrett Owings joined ORNL in 2021. As a mechanical technician in the Application Engineering Group, he installs, builds, modifies and troubleshoots testbeds for various research laboratories. Though he's in the Enrichment Science and Engineering division, he assists other divisions as needed with research efforts and project timelines.
Barrett holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in electronic technology from Community College of the Air Force. A U.S. Air Force veteran, he is active in the ORNL Veterans Employee Resource Group.
