Bhagya Prabhune

Bio

Bhagyashree (Bhagya) is a researcher in the Multiscale Materials group at Oak Ridge National Lab (ORNL). 

She utilizes physics driven modeling, simulation, and AI/ML tools for solving problems in advanced manufacturing processes such as additive manufacturing. 

Bhagya received her doctoral degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During her doctoral research, she developed a novel finite element method (FEM), called tangled FEM (TFEM), to alleviate the challenges associated with untangling the meshes.
