Biva Talukdar

Postdoctoral Research Associate

Biva Talukdar is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Materials MicroÅnalysis group and at physical sciences directorate at Center for Nanophase Materials Sciences. She received her Ph.D. in Sustainable Chemical Science and Technology from Academia Sinica in partnership with National Yang-Ming Chiao Tung university in 2021. During her Ph.D. she synthesized novel architectures of Bi/trimetallic core-shell alloy nanoparticles and characterized with several spectroscopic and microscopic techniques and used in Electrochemical energy conversion reactions such as CO2 reduction to useful chemicals and N2 reduction to ammonia. In 2022, she joined Oak Ridge National Laboratory as Postdoctoral Research Associate. Her current research focuses on characterization of catalysts materials by using advanced microscopic techniques, such as S/TEM and in-situ microscopic techniques.
