Bio
R. Blake Wilkerson currently works as a Technical Professional in the Radiation Transport group that is part of the Nuclear Energy and Fuel Cycle division in the Fusion and Fission Energy Science directorate. He received his B.S. and M.S. in nuclear engineering from the University of Tennessee in 2015 and 2016, respectively. After graduate school, Blake joined the Systems Design and Analysis group at Los Alamos National Laboratory as student before transitioning to a staff member. Blake joined the Radiation Transport group at ORNL in 2021. Blake is currently applying advanced high-fidelity radiation transport solutions to the Surplus Plutonium Disposition (SPD) project and activation analysis for special-purpose reactors.
