Bio
Brian Jordan is a technical professional with eight years of experience working with a metal additive manufacturing process called Directed Energy Deposition. His contributions to research include design and fabrication of multi-material composites and functionally graded transition joints for the fuel industry, fabrication of components for nuclear energy applications, as well as the additive repair of in-service parts used in manufacturing, vehicles, aircrafts, and assets for the Department of Defense. His current work includes parameter development for AM processing of refractory metals. Brian has a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering Technology. He also serves as Laser Safety Officer for the directorate.
