Connor Girlinghouse, a senior enrichment production technician in the Enrichment Science and Engineering Division of ORNL's Isotope Science and Engineering Directorate, joined ORNL in 2023.
In his current role, Connor is working with directorate and laboratory personnel to stand up and operate the Stable Isotopes Production Facility, or SIPF, which will establish domestic production of enriched stable isotopes to fill U.S. needs and reduce reliance on foreign suppliers.
Prior to joining ORNL, Connor was a senior technician at the U.S. Dept. of Defense's Bush Combat Development Complex, and before that an operations engineer for Wild Well Control (Oil and Gas).
Connor holds a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering technology from Sam Houston State University and is pursing a graduate degree in international affairs, with an emphasis in intelligence, from Texas A&M.
