Bio
David is the Financial Analyst supporting the Oak Ridge Leadership Computing Facility (OLCF) and the National Center of Computational Science (NCCS) at Oak Ridge National Lab. In this position, David provides financial management and guidance to help support the OLCF operations and the OLCF projects in building new supercomputers.
David earned in B.S. in Finance from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN (UTK) . He later earned an Masters of Science from UTK as well.
Prior to supporting OLCF in November 2022, David has supported a variety of other areas at ORNL. Recently he served in a role as a SAP Functional Analyst in the Business Systems group at the lab. Before that, he has served as a Finance Officer within Financial Planning supporting different indirect divisions and helping with lab wide financial planning and analysis. He has also served as a Finance Officer supporting NCCS at an earlier time.
David joined ORNL in July 2015 after working as an Accounting Assistant/Purchaser at Analysis and Measurement Corporation in Knoxville, TN. In his free time, David enjoys spending time with his family doing different activities and is an avid sports fan.
