Bio
David Conner is a mechanical engineer in the Neutron Technologies Division. He has been at ORNL for over 30 years and has spent periods working in the Fusion Energy and Robotics research areas before joining neutron scattering. David has spent time working in both the Target Systems and Instrument Systems groups at the SNS. Currently David is an instrument design engineer and is responsible for supporting the everyday operations as well as upgrades to many of the most successful instruments at SNS including VULCAN, CNCS and HYSPEC.
