Hot cell operations technician Dustin Heidle joined ORNL in May 2024. He previously was a Patriot Missile Field Services Principal Specialist for Raytheon Missiles and Defense in New Mexico. Prior to that, he was a Patriot Missile System Maintenance Supervisor for the U.S. Army.
In his current position, Dustin assists R&D staff in processing operations, including dissolution, separation, purification, recovery and preparation of isotopes; supports research and development, testing and field application of equipment and processes; identifies and troubleshoots problems; and ensures compliance with environmental, safety, health and quality program requirements, among other duties.
Dustin attended Roane State Community College and the American Military University.
