Bio
Elton is the Group Leader for the High-Performance Computing (HPC) Clusters Group in the HPC Systems Section.
Elton has worked in information technology (IT) and information systems for almost 30 years. Before joining ORNL, he spent the majority of his career as Principal Director to a variety of information services companies in the areas of software development, value added reseller (VAR), managed service provider (MSP), and a storage original equipment manufacturer (OEM). The past four years have been spent supporting HPC and virtualization clusters in the field of geoinformatics for the Geospatial Science and Human Security (GSHS) Division, with the last 18 months serving as DevOps Task Lead for the R&D group within the Information Technology Service Division.
