Bio
George began his career as an intern at ORNL in the computer room support group. After attending East Tennessee State University, he joined the Operations Department of ORNL. George has seen many changes in the computer world since 1983. He had the opportunity to train on both the INTEL 5 and 35 supercomputers in Beaverton, Oregon. George has witnessed the significant transition of ORNL supercomputers from the 1980’s through the present. In his free time, George enjoys DJing, traveling, and grilling.
