Dr. Jackeline (Jacky) Rios-Torres is a Eugene P. Wigner Fellow with the Energy and Transportation Science Division. She is a technical lead for the DOE SMART Mobility consortium. Her current research is mainly focused on the development of optimal connected and automated vehicles (CAVs) coordination strategies and the analysis of their implications considering different traffic scenarios to increase mobility energy efficiency.

Her research interests include analysis, control and optimization of intelligent transportation and mobility systems, advanced driver assistance systems and energy management control for advanced powertrain systems. Jacky completed her Ph.D. Degree in Automotive Engineering from Clemson University and her B.S. Degree in Electronic Engineering from the Universidad del Valle- Colombia.
