Bio
Jacob Arndt is a data scientist in the Geospatial Artificial Intelligence (GeoAI) Group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. His research focuses on machine learning and computer vision techniques for large-scale remote sensing image classification and segmentation. He currently works on research and development efforts in automated mapping of urban land-use from satellite imagery and building segmentation workflows. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor of science in geography in 2016 and a masters of geographic information science with a graduate minor in computer science in 2018.
