Jim M Nash

Nuclear Experiment Project Engineer

Jim Nash is currently part of the Experiments Analysis & Coordination Team at the HFIR. In this role he is currently coordinating research efforts associated with Molybdenum-99 here at ORNL and supporting development of a domestic source of this medical radioisotope. In addition to providing general experiment support at HFIR, Mr. Nash is also responsible for the HFIR interface and coordination for Pu-238 production.

Prior to joining ORNL in 2020, Mr. Nash had over 15 years experience with the Naval Nuclear Laboratory supporting testing of core materials and supporting development of performance limits. Mr. Nash has a Masters of Science in Materials Science Engineering from the Ohio State University.
