Jared D Walden

Bio

Jared Walden is a results-driven power electronics engineer at the Spallation Neutron Source (SNS) with a passion for pushing the boundaries of technology for high voltage particle accelerator applications. Jared joined the SNS in 2021 and now serves as the lead engineer for High Voltage Converter Modulators (HVCM), overseeing the successful operation of HVCM systems during accelerator neutron production. Additionally, Jared is a WBS Manager (L3) for the Proton Power Upgrade for New Linac Modulators in the Research Accelerator Division. Jared holds a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on power electronics from the University of Tennessee, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Western Kentucky University.
