Jasmine K Hinton

Postdoctoral Researcher

I’m a condensed matter scientist with over 10 years of research experience, from undergraduate to PhD, studying materials under extreme pressure and temperature. At ORNL, I am studying the structure of H2, D2, and other light systems under high pressure. My primary experimental technique is single-crystal neutron diffraction applied in diamond anvil cell (DAC) studies. I am developing techniques for single crystal sample preparation and data collection as well as data reduction methods for time-of-flight diffraction.
