Jennifer A Palmer

Bio

Jennifer Palmer is the business planning specialist responsible for managing the lab’s discretionary investments in directed research and program development in the Office of Strategic Planning and Performance Management at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Previously, she served as the business development and strategic initiatives manager for the energy and environmental sciences to provide strategic partnership engagement, lead key initiatives in communications, marketing and business development, and advise senior leaders on communication-related matters. She brings over 29 years of demonstrated success at ORNL spanning environmental science, energy efficiency in buildings, transportation, advanced manufacturing, carbon fiber and composites, and technology-based partnerships for commercialization and regional economic development. Jennifer holds an MBA in Organizational Management, BS in Environmental Science, and AS in both Chemistry and Biology.
