Jiaze Wang is a postdoc researcher in the Plant-Soil Interactions Group at Oak Ridge National Lab. She uses numerical model to explore freshwater and saltwater influences on biogeochemical cycles in coastal wetlands, especially on green house gas emission. Her previous research includes developing the Genome-based EmergeNt Ocean Microbial Ecosystem Model (GENOME model) which simulates oil-microbial interactions, sediment transport observation and coastal geomorphology modeling.
