Bio
Jill Hemman is a graphic artist/scientific illustrator for Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s Neutron Sciences Directorate. She creates engaging visual design solutions that highlight work done by researchers at its neutron scattering facilities, the Spallation Neutron Source and the High Flux Isotope Reactor. Collaborating with scientists, she helps communicate complex subject matter through clear, eye-catching images.
Hemman has extensive experience designing across a variety of mediums including web, email, social media, print, and on-screen. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in visual communication.
