Ms. Sims is a Geospatial Research Scientist in the Human Geography group and the Technical Lead for the LandScan Global Population Distribution Database. Since joining the Lab in October of 2008, her responsibilities have supported GIS spatial research initiatives, with special emphasis in spatio-temporal population and social dynamics modeling and simulation. Other interests include data collection, input, and quality assurances, as well as multi-resolution data analysis.
