Logan D Sturm

Distinguished Staff Fellow

Logan joined ORNL in 2021 as a Distinguished Staff Fellow working on his project, Operational Security for In-process Resiliency of Inspections Systems (OSIRIS) and has also done work with the Cyber Manufacturing Innovation Institute (CyManII). He is part of the Embedded Systems Security group in the Cyber Resilience and Intelligence Division under National Security Sciences Directorate. His research is focused on cybersecurity for advanced manufacturing systems 

He is currently serving on the ASTM standards committee for Additive Manufacturing Security and served on the technical planning committee for AMSec 2022: International Workshop on Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) Security. He has a PhD and a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech where his dissertation was Cyber Security for Additive Manufacturing Systems
