Multi-Craft Supervisor - Oak Ridge National Laboratory - Oak Ridge, TN                                                 2019-Present

As a Multi-Craft Supervisor serving as a member of the team that provides leadership in support of maintenance activities performed at the HFIR, as well as maintenance of associated conventional facilities. Daily supervise a crew of craft resources to manage on a short- or long-term basis as situations require. In addition to the supervision of craft resources, I perform coordination, planning, scheduling, reviews, and assessments in accordance with the HFlR Maintenance Program.

Pipefitter - Oak Ridge National Laboratory - Oak Ridge, TN                                                                       2010-2019 

Responsibilities include upholding and maintaining piping systems, performing new installation of piping systems for labs, clean rooms and mechanical rooms at the SNS (Spallation Neutron Source) Complex and HFIF (High Flux Isotope Reactor). In addition, perform preventative maintenance on eye washing facilities, safety showers, water filters and restrooms. All duties are performed in a safe manner for protection of yourself, as well a fellow employee.

Responsibilities include preparing budgets/estimates, collecting permits, organizing work, scheduling, dealing with suppliers, dealing with subcontractors, in charge of work being done up to code, complying with Osha Standards, meeting time lines, suggesting alternatives to spending in order to meet budgets, handling payment of all subs and suppliers, etc.

Plumber - Gene McGhee Plumbing - Clinton, TN                                                                                       2001-2010

New installation and maintenance plumbing consisting of installing all piping, valves, fixtures, and making sure everything was up to code. Frequently used copper, PVC, CPVC, cast iron, black pipe, schedule 40 and schedule 80 piping. Read blueprints and sketches lo develop material lists and for routing of pipe. Involved culling, measuring, shaping, fabricating, and joining piping. Worked out in inclement weather as well as indoors. Did repair work that included troubleshooting, fabricating, and repairing various types of faulty piping as well as fixtures. Also, unclogged commodes and sewer lines.
