Dr. Meghan E. Lamm is an R&D Associate Staff Member in the Manufacturing Science Division of Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). She received her B.A. in Chemistry from Illinois Wesleyan University in 2015 and PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of South Carolina in 2019. Her doctoral research focused on macromolecular engineering of biomass polymers and their applications in stimuli-responsive materials. Dr. Lamm joined ORNL in January 2020. Her current research interests include development of novel polymeric materials for a range of applications including composite materials, biopolymers, polymer upcycling, and stimuli-responsive materials. Dr. Lamm has authored more than 25 peer-review publications, 7 patent applications, and has been an active speaker with more than 35 presentations.
