
Bio
Michael Fuller joined the RRD Experiments and R & D Programs Team, effective November 7, 2022. Participated in initial reactor operator training during the months of March 2023 and April 2023. Currently in qualifications for Task Leader and System Engineer certifications at the High Flux Isotope Reactor (HFIR).
Professional Experience
Before coming to ORNL, Michael worked in commercial nuclear power for 11.5 years. He served in Operations as a Senior Reactor Operator on a four loop Westinghouse pressurized water reactor. Prior to his time in commercial nuclear power, Michael served in the US Nuclear Navy (Submarines) for 20 years, retiring in 2011 after serving as the Director of Nuclear Engineering and Training at Submarine Learning Facility, Norfolk, VA.
