Bio
Michael is an HPC Linux Engineer for the HPC Clusters group.
Prior to joining ORNL, Michael held positions at the University of Tennessee as a Unix/Linux systems administrator and a C++ database programmer for The Institute for Environmental Modeling (TIEM) and as the IT Manager for the National Institute for Mathematical and Biological Synthesis (NIMBioS).
Michael has a deep affection for science and has dedicated his career to its support. Michael has a background in computer science, over 25 years of Linux experience, and loves free and open-source software.
