Bio
Nicholas Richter joined Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) as a postdoctoral research associate in 2023 working in the Alloy Behavior and Design group in the Materials Science and Technology division. His research interests focus on addressing sustainability in aluminum alloy design, targeting alloys produced from secondary sources and electrically conductive aluminum alloys for light-weighting electric vehicles.
Education
Nicholas completed his PhD ('23) and Bachelors ('18) in Materials Engineering at Purdue University.
