Since March 2020, my role is the Nuclear Procurement Engineer for the Research Reactors Division (RRD) High Flux Isotope Reactor (HFIR) Nuclear Materials & Procurement Group. I perform Commercial-Grade Item (CGI) Dedication and Defense-in-Depth (DID) technical evaluations for routine and mission-critical procurements, modifications, and fabrications.
I have over 41 years of experience in materials management and inventory analysis, procurement engineering, materials planning, warehouse supervision, and equipment evaluation. I have supervised technical, craft, and administrative personnel. My background includes both direct and consultant/contracting experience at commercial nuclear power facilities during construction, startup, operational, extended power uprate (EPU), and outage conditions, other Department of Energy (DOE) sites, oil refineries, and a pharmaceutical manufacturer. I am experienced in work that is critical path or of an urgent nature. I am adept at improving processes and methods to accomplish tasks as I am exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and possess an exemplary work ethic.
