Roger J Weaver

Bio

Mr. Weaver is the Radiochemical Engineering and Development Center (REDC) Nuclear Facility Manager in the Nonreactor Nuclear Facilities Division (NNFD) within the Isotope Science and Engineering Directorate at ORNL.  Previously, he was the REDC Hot Cell Operations Group Lead in the Isotope Processing and Manufacturing Division within the same directorate.  He has 30 years of experience at ORNL, including 29 years at the REDC.  Mr. Weaver’s experience includes (1) nuclear hot cell chemical processing operations, (2) facility system operations, and (3) oversight of safety-class / safety-significant instrument calibrations and functional testing for satisfaction of Technical Safety Requirements.  He maintains the qualifications of Operations Supervisor for Building 7920, Task Lead for NNFD, and REDC Nuclear Facility Manager.  Mr. Weaver has an A.A.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Pellissippi State Community College.
