
Bio
Dr. Rubén Millán-Solsona has an outstanding track record in nanotechnology, with a strong focus on advanced atomic force microscopy (AFM) techniques and their application to biophysical studies. His expertise includes the development of novel experimental methods for the mechanical and electrical characterization of materials and biological samples at the nanoscale. This work has led to numerous publications in high-impact scientific journals such as ACS Nano and Nature Communications. Dr. Millán-Solsona has also leveraged finite element modeling using COMSOL Multiphysics to interpret complex phenomena, including capacitance in self-assembled monolayers and the dielectric properties of individual liposomes. Recently, he has integrated machine learning approaches to enhance microscopy techniques, demonstrating his ability to incorporate cutting-edge technologies into interdisciplinary research.
