Sherry Chandler is the Administrative Assistant for Kevin Thach, section head for the HPC Systems Section. This section consists of six HPC groups which support the NCCS. She also supports the Scalable Systems group, Storage and Archive group, and Cybersecurity and Information Engineering group.
Sherry has 20+ years’ experience in the radiology field in both patient care and administrative. After a three-year stint in the fast-paced and exciting aviation field at Cirrus Aircraft, she landed in the dosimetry department at the Y-12 National Security Complex. This paved the way to an administrative position at ORNL.
