I am leading several projects with industry, national labs, and academia members on solving challenges raised by high penetration of power electronics in grids. I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai, India, in 2010, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, USA, in 2015. My main research interests include applied mathematics for different power electronics and power systems applications like modeling and simulation algorithms, optimal control, and design of power electronics in various applications such as renewables, HVdc systems, high-power drives, microgrids, solid-state lighting, among others.
