Originally from Busan, South Korea, I embarked on my academic journey at Seoul National University, where I majored in Materials Science and Engineering. After earning a Bachelor's degree in 2016 and a Ph.D. in 2022, specializing in microscopy with a focus on structural materials, I continued my postdoctoral research at Seoul National University. This work deepened my expertise in the field, leading to significant contributions. In 2023, I joined Oak Ridge National Laboratory in the United States as a Postdoctoral Researcher, marking a pivotal point in my career. At ORNL, my research took a new direction towards the study of quantum materials. My work at ORNL is dedicated to uncovering the properties and potential applications of quantum materials, aiming to contribute to breakthroughs in technology and science.
