Bio
Tyler joined ORNL in 2022 as a Lab Technician subcontractor within the Labs & Soft Matter Group. The group's mission is to facilitate pioneering science by providing reliable support services, maintaining laboratory spaces, and streamlining sample management. As a Labs & Soft Matter technician, he provides external users and staff with lab and experiment support at the Spallation Neutron Source. This entails sample handling and manipulation, laboratory servicing, equipment maintenance, and communication with a multi-disciplinary team.
Tyler graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in the spring of 2021. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Reliability and Maintainability.
