Dr. Umesh Marathe is working as postdoctoral research associate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He has expertise in design, processing and characterization of sustainable materials, advanced composites and nanocomposites for different applications. His research mainly focuses on Bio-composites, high performance composites, recycling of polymers and composites, joining. He holds a Ph.D. (2022) from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India, specializing in polymer composites/nano-composites. He has published 18 research articles in peer-reviewed international scientific journals and 2 book chapter on wear of composites and polymer nanocomposites for food packaging applications.
