Bio
Dr. Wright joined ORNL as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Extreme Environment Material Process Group. Before joining ORNL, Dr. Wright earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Miami in 2023. His doctoral research focused on integrating AI into thermoset composite additive manufacturing (AM) systems by characterizing the relationships between process parameters, carbon fiber alignment, and material properties. Currently, his research is focused on developing cost-effective high-temperature ceramic matrix composites via AM and advanced PIP densification methods.
