
Bio
Yan-Ru Lin is an R&D Associate Scientist in the Radiation Effects and Microstructural Analysis Group (REMAG) at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. His research primarily focuses on understanding the effects of radiation damage in nuclear materials under neutron and ion irradiation, with a particular emphasis on employing transmission electron microscopy. Dr. Lin earned his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He also holds a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering from National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan.
