Yuchen Jiang is currently a postdoc researcher working on nuclear fusion blanket research and development (R&D), Magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) phenomenon investigation and liquid metal plasma facing component (LM PFC) simulation. His expertise is in fluid dynamics and heat and mass transfer. He has the knowledge of numerical methods (finite difference, finite volume), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), coding (Fortran, C, C++, MATLAB, Python, Java), and CAE tools (UG NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD). His previous and current research are focused on establishment, validation and verification (V&V), and utilization of computational models for liquid metal applications.
