Government Green Fleet Award

ORNL's fleet received the Government Green Fleet Award in 2017 and 2018. The award honors federal, state and local government fleets in North America that have achieved success in "greening" their fleet by using alternative fuel and hybrid vehicles, emissions reduction, long-range planning, and staff education and involvement. The top 50 green fleets are recognized by annually. In 2017, ORNL ranked number 29th on the list and was the only fleet from the State of Tennessee to win the award. In 2018, ORNL ranked number 20 and, again, was the only fleet from the State of Tennessee.
