Conjoined charge density waves produce unconventional superconductivity in a Kagome metal

Topic:

Resonant X-ray scattering revealed the connection between the charge density wave (CDW) and superconductivity in the kagome superconductor CsV3Sb5.

This work unveils the origin of the exotic double-dome superconductivity in the kagome metal, establishing the fundamental spatial symmetries to enable pairing density waves.
