Enabling data analytics and process control to create a cyber-secure manufacturing platform
The Secure and Digital Manufacturing Section develops a digital manufacturing platform and a cyber-secure manufacturing ecosystem by integrating a wide variety of manufacturing systems enabled by advanced data analytics, process control and secure communications.
The section includes the following groups: Deposition Science and Technology and Digital Manufacturing and Analyses Frameworks.
The Deposition Science and Technology Group develops exemplars for classified manufacturing operations for research, development and production enabling rapid deployment of next generation manufacturing capabilities in secured and classified facilities. The Digital Manufacturing and Analyses Frameworks Group integrates capabilities in communication, computing, storage and user interface for advanced manufacturing process analysis, modeling and control to ensure an energy efficient and secure manufacturing ecosystem.
