Bio
Branislav (Bran) started his career in data storage as SCSI firmware development engineer at Seagate. He also worked on RAID controller design and development at XIOtech (subsidiary of Seagate at that time). Later, he joined I/O Development and Integration team at Cray to work on host side I/O and integration of storage devices and systems. Bran has been involved with Lustre filesystem since 2005 and with GPFS since 2014. At IBM, he worked on designing GPFS and other IBM storage solutions. He also worked as Software Solutions Architect for Lustre filesystem at Intel. After joining DDN as a member of Technical Sales team, he was involved with designing competitive high-performance block storage, parallel filesystems, and object storage solutions. Bran holds master’s degree in EE/Computer Engineering from University of Southern California.
