Bio
Elaine earned her Ph.D. in Mathematics (symbolic computation) from Johannes Kepler University in Linz, Austria. Prior to ORNL, she worked as a postdoctoral research scientist for the Austrian Academy of Sciences at the Radon Institute for Applied and Computational Mathematics (RICAM). Her current research interests are in the development of algorithms to solve combinatorial problems that arise in DOE related applications, symbolic summation and integration, as well as the development of computer algebra tools for various symbolic computation applications.
