Bio
Presently I am part of the Protection Systems Group within SNS.I design, manage, maintain, and repair many of the PSG systems across the SNS facility. My niche would be the Instrument PSG systems in the Target building as well as all ODH systems across the facility. My very diverse skill set has supported me in my work at the SNS. I like to believe that the science we PSG supports will somehow make a different for folks in the world. My most recent project was in support of the PSG installed at VENUS. Even though they are not due to take beam until next year we had to get the PSG installed and certified for the BOAT Beam Optical Alignment Test. PSG met the required milestone and VENUS was able to complete there beam location check. Working at SNS gave me the opportunity to complete my Bachelors in 2016, this meant a lot to me as a personal goal.
Professional Experience
I have been in electrical engineering since 1984 starting with PET scanners when they first began. I was one of the first 25 employees hired, that went on to become a multi million dollar business and was bought out by Siemens in the 90's. I have worked in PSTCC Philips Consumer Electronics as par of the televisions division R&D group. I also worked at WindRock, they design and fabricate engine analysis equipment. Within all the positions I designed managed maintained and went off site for reviews and design assessments..
