Bio
Dr. Mengjia Tang is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Building Envelope Materials Research Group at ORNL. She supports DOE’s mission to decarbonize the built environment by working on the development and incorporation of low embodied carbon building materials into residential and commercial construction. The work includes the characterization of hygrothermal and fire performance properties coupled with simulations to develop energy efficient and moisture durable building envelopes with improved fire performance and low embodied carbon.
