Vladimir V Peplov

Power Electronics Engineer

Vladimir V. Peplov received the M.S. degree in Charged Particle Accelerator Physics and Engineering from Moscow Engineering Physics Institute (State University), Moscow, Russia, in 1979. He spent 28 years working for the Institute for Nuclear Research of Russian Academy of Sciences (INR RAS) in the Linear Accelerator Division. He participated in developing, design, fabrication, testing and study of the low and high power RF, control and HV pulsed power systems for INR linac. Also Mr. Peplov worked in collaboration with several national laboratories in Germany, Canada and the United States participating in the different international accelerator projects in the areas of his expertise. Since 2007, he works at the Spallation Neutron Source in Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Mr. Peplov has published numerous number of papers on RF and pulsed power systems.
