A new LiPS phase has been developed. This new solid electrolyte exhibits the characteristics of a solid solution with fast ion conduction and electrochemical stability up to 10 V vs Li/Li+ while demonstrating low charge transfer resistance.
Graphene has great potential to serve as a separation membrane due to its unique properties such as chemical and mechanical stability, flexibility and most importantly its one-atom thickness.
The superoleiphobic coatings repel most all liquids and are applicable to most all surfaces. The applications are numerous, including drag reduction, anti-fouling, anti-icing, stain-resistance, water proofing of surfaces and fabrics to name a few.
The present invention comprises an infrared-blocking cellulose-inorganic hybrid nanocomposite transparent windowpane/glazing unit that is designed replace conventional windows for buildings.
The invention covers two aspects, the particles produced by sonic and magnetic interactions of liquid magnesium and carbon with stainless steel, and the process by which they are produced.
We report a carbon-based, three-dimensional nanofluidic transport membrane that enables gated, or on/off, control of the transport of organic molecular species and metal ions using an applied electrical potential.
Standard templating uses methods that can be both costly and hazardous on the industrial scale.
The process of the present invention allows very strong heat treat Aluminum to be formed and not have to go through a temper/aging process, creating material which doesn’t require post tempering operations while still maintaining an equivalent T4 grade or higher Aluminum Tempe
Electrodeposition of aluminum is an attractive technique because it leads to thin, economical coatings that usually are adherent and do not affect the structural and mechanical properties of the substrate.
